My Father is right now offering you bread from heaven, the real bread.*

The way to a man's heart is through his belly, they say! Is Jesus being pointed here? What's his tone? Our response to God is often complex; mixed motives allied to simple devotion, as jumbled as a buffet. Jesus moves on to talk of himself as bread, offered right now, in front of you - the real bread, the genuine pure article.

As I listen to this statement* and the response within me what desire or challenge is stirred within me? Is there a prayer or action that emerges?
