Into the desert

At once the Spirit sent Jesus out into the desert, and he was in the desert for forty days, being tempted by Satan.  He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him. Mark 1:12-13

Whether we find ourselves tempted, bored, anxious or exhilerated (our wild animals), waiting in the carpark, ushering the kids through the door or contemplating a critical decision God comes disguised as our life and attends us.

“Wherever we travel
God is on our track

Wherever we settle
God is in our midst

Whatever is ahead of us
God will be there before us

God’s angels are among us
to keep us in all our ways”
