Manipulation

In Jerusalem during Passover many people put their faith in Jesus, because they saw him work miracles. But Jesus knew what was in their hearts, and he would not let them have power over him. No one had to tell him what people were like. He already knew.

They desired to have power over him

The crowds response to Jesus is to control him. Whether acknowledged or not, the intent to manipulate him gathers shape. It's a tactic that Jesus is familiar with. As I listen to the crowds response within me what desire or challenge is stirred within me? Is there a prayer or action that emerges?
