Our topic is Facing the world.

Self-portraits.  We meet to reflect on an Elizabeth Jennings poem Rembrandt's Late Self-portraits and a chapter entitled Keeping fire in one's eyes by Ronald Rolheiser which poses questions such as:

Are we weary of experiencing, incapable of being surprised?  Fatigued or excited?  Is there still a young child buried behind them (your eyes)?
