The bodily encounter with the divine

The Son of Man is come Luke 19:10

We must begin by trusting what God has done in Jesus. We cannot return to a healthy view of our own bodies until we accept that God has forever made human flesh the privileged place of the divine encounter. Richard Rohr

Using pictures from the Methodist Modern Art Collection we will muse on the theme of the coming of God, as Jesus the Son of Man who meets us in our bodies:

  • Saying our hellos - The Son of Man is born
